in Sisters Celebration, Sept. 24-26 Belly Dancer of the Universe September 25 Sahara’s Dream, a local award-winning belly dance troupe, will be presenting Rachel George workshop featuring her signature combinations. In the evening, local belly dance performers, including Sahara’s Dream, Mezdulene’s Mystic Oasis, Sahirnee, Kamini, Jerusha, and more, will be performing with a finale by Rachel George. Sahara’s Dream Sahara’s Dream is a popular and eclectic belly dance troupe based in Bend, Oregon. Known throughout the Pacific-Northwest for their crisp execution of challenging and innovative choreographies, Sahara’s Dream won Belly Dance Troupe USA in 2009 and 2006 as well as Belly Dancer USA Duet in 2008. The troupe is comprised of dancers Sahara, Kamaria, Phoenix, Natasha, and Cynthia. Sahara is the troupe’s director with over 25 years of belly dance experience.
