Casting Director Lana Veenker to Teach Bend Actors How to Go Pro

lanaLocation casting director of films such as Twilight, Management, Untraceable and Feast of Love brings her successful business-of-acting workshop to Bend.

Casting Director Lana Veenker will be bringing her successful business of acting workshops to Bend on Monday, November 12 and Tuesday, November 13 at Volcanic Theatre Pub.

Veenker is the owner of Cast Iron Studios, one of the most successful location casting companies in North America, and over the past decade, has built a career helping actors outside Hollywood break into the business.

She offers Go Pro and Auditioning for TV & Film in regional markets across the country to help actors learn what they need to do to make themselves attractive commodities in their hometowns and beyond.
“I’m passionate about showing Hollywood that regional actors have got the goods. But sometimes actors blow their chances because they don’t understand that it takes more than talent to book a job,” says Veenker. “It takes developing the mindset and focus of a pro. It means upping your game, wherever you are in your career.”

Go Pro, a lecture-style workshop, will take place on Monday, November 12 at Century Center, 70 SW Century Drive, Bend, 6-9pm.

Auditioning for TV & Film, a smaller workshop where actors will get on their feet, will take place on Tuesday, November 13 at Century Center, 7-9pm.

The cost of the lecture is $129, or register for both workshops for only $229. Only a limited number of tickets are available for both workshops.
