Old-Fashioned Fun at Annual Country Fair & Art Show in Sisters

The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration holds its 18th annual Country Fair and Art Show on Saturday, August 9, 10am-3pm. The Art Show and Silent Auction begin with a reception on Friday evening, August 8, 5-8pm.

The Country Fair is old-fashioned fun for the entire family. For the children there are animals, face painting, a bouncy castle and lots of games and craft activities. There will also be a return visit from our Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire Department.

The art show and sale includes works from many outstanding regional artists. This year there is a diverse collection of original high-quality oils, watercolors, pastels, porcelain, sculptures, outdoor art, photography, jewelry and other fine crafts. The Art Show is juried by Bend watercolor artist Patricia Porter.
The upscale silent auctions guarantee something for every taste. This year look for certificates from local restaurants, jewelry items and art pieces donated by art show artists.

Relax under the pines with a delicious lunch at the Café Transfig. Then top it off with the very popular home-made marionberry cobbler a la mode!

Shop the Country Store for homemade preserves, fresh produce, candy, home-baked breads and cookies, potted plants and handmade craft items. The Good Book venue offers a great selection of gently read books.

The Country Fair and Art Show is the church’s major Outreach fundraiser each year and all funds earned are given back to the community. Over the years this event has generated over $170,000 in funds for community support agencies.
