9 Miles Down a 10 Mile Road

Their debut single was appropriately titled Like We Were Kids Again as it’s a nostalgic reminder about the carefree days of youth. Written by Chad and Rachael along with Steve and Michelle Sundholm, the song laments the loss of youth saying, “Sometimes grown-ups need a summer vacation.”

Rachael, who is the niece of Oran and Janie Teater of Bend, says they had the incredible opportunity of working with the guys at New Voice Entertainment, (Jason Aldean’s band as well as the production team for Thompson Square), who produced and played on this single.

Since the birth of Cloverdayle in 2008, the couple has shared the stage with some phenomenal country artists like Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Wynonna Judd, Josh Turner, Eric Church, Jake Owen and Lee Brice.

In 2010 they teamed up with songwriter and producer Terry McBride (Play Something Country, If You See Him, If You See Her) and Dwain Rowe, (long-time band leader for Brooks & Dunn), to record a four song EP titled Young and Reckless. That project opened up numerous doors locally and nationally.

All of the friendly country songs on this new album were written and recorded by Chad and Rachael along with a few collaborations including 9 Miles Down a 10 Mile Road created with Neal Carpenter.

Rachael’s strong country voice carries the music beautifully pushing the vocals to the front of the page with Chad’s strong backup on the acoustic guitar. If you have a chance don’t miss an opportunity to hear this talented duo.
