13th Annual Gopher Broke Scramble Golf Tournament

Bend Park & Recreation Foundation is seeking business and food/beverage sponsors and inviting players to join in for the 13th Annual Bend Park & Recreation Foundation Gopher Broke Scramble Golf Tournament. The tournament has a long standing reputation as one of the best in Bend. Proceeds from the event help provide low income children and families in our community with scholarship support to participate in Bend Park & Recreation District programs.

The 2016 tournament is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 30, at Bend Golf & Country Club.

The Gopher Broke Scramble features a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start with a fun welcome at registration, food and beverage sponsored by local businesses offered at each hole on the course, great prizes and a happy hour awards presentation. Registration is $600 for a team of four or $150 for individual players.

Bend Park and Recreation District provides more than $250,000 annually in needs based assistance to families to support participation in recreation programs. Bend Park & Recreation Foundation provides scholarship funds to support this effort to ensure that all families have access to quality programs that foster self-confidence and encourage healthy lifestyles, regardless of ability to pay.
