All aboard for an old-fashioned, all-American 4th of July in Prineville! The Oregon Historical Society and the City of Prineville Railroad will run the Mt. Emily Shay on a series of free excursion trips beginning at 9:00 AM, running every hour through 3:00 PM.

The Mt. Emily is a Shay steam locomotive built in 1923 which was designed to haul logs to the mill. There are only a few of these left in the world!
