Found Object Workshop
“An Adventure in Jewelry Design”

Description:

With this workshop we’ll head outside to gather interesting finds throughout the area. Students will then design/create wearable art while using limited tools, no torch no electrical tools, etc. needle and thread, scissors, tape. With limitations students learn a different way to create. They are forced to think and problem solve in a new light, all while being in their natural environment. If weather/space permits class will be outside if not we will gather materials and head back inside. No jewelry experience is necessary but can be useful. Please join me after the class for a personal tour of my traveling metal smithing studio.
