All Ages are Welcome!

The Central Oregon Shooting Sports Association will host an Open House, Outdoor Shoot and Free Barbecue on Saturday, June 24, from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the COSSA Park east of Bend.

Volunteers will introduce shooters to the COSSA Park and to the shooting sports through the COSSA Kids program, Lady Hawks, Cowboy Action, Black powder Cartridge Rifle Clubs and more. The Oregon Zoo will provide sample non-lead ammunition for hunters to try in various calibers. Bring your hunting rifle!

Topics taught will include: Safety, Handgun Fundamentals, Rimfire Shooting and Centerfire High Power Rifle. Firearms and ammunition will be provided by instructors.

COSSA will have traveling food vendors on hand. Lunch and soft drinks will be served, free of charge while supplies last. Alcohol is not allowed on the range. Please bring eye and ear protection.
