Tuesday, March 7 at 7:30pm the Tower Theatre Foundation presents the Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea, two-time GRAMMY Award winners for Best Regional Mexican Album (A Mi Manera 2014 and Canciones de Amor 2009). The Divas are a multi-cultural, eclectic all-female ensemble whose style and sound prove that music has no boundaries. Led by founder and trumpet player, Cindy Shea, the Mariachi Divas are comprised of women from Cuba, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Mexico. “You can move people in so many ways,” says Shea. “If it’s salsa, you dance all night. If it’s orchestra, you listen all night. When you listen to mariachi, you cry in one song, laugh on another and dance on another!” You can catch the Divas performing weekly at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim on the Pacific Wharf or the Paradise Garden Bandstand, but why not grab a comfortable seat at the Tower, and get blown away!

This performance is presented by the Tower Theatre Foundation and is sponsored by Bend Surgery Center with additional support from Central Oregon Radiology, Deschutes Brewery, and Oregrown. Tickets are on sale now. Membership, program information and individual and group tickets are available at the box office (835 NW Wall), by phone (541-317-0700) or online (www.towertheatre.org). Details on events are also at facebook.com/TheTowerTheatre.

The nonprofit Tower Theatre Foundation owns and operates the historic stage in downtown Bend. The Foundation’s mission is to be the leading performing arts organization, providing cultural and education programs that make an essential contribution to Central Oregon’s lifestyle and strengthen the community.
