WORLD MUSE TO HOST 5Th ANNUAL MUSE CAMP – TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE
The three-day women’s retreat will offer 100 women and girls the opportunity to work with local and global artists, activists, and leaders.
August 5, 2015 – Bend, Ore. – MUSE CAMP WOMEN’S RETREAT will be held August 21st –
23rd  at Caldera Arts Center.  This 5th annual event will feature:

Marianne Elliot, a yoga teacher and human rights defender from New Zealand who wrote a memoir entitled “Zen Under Fire” about her time spent heading a UN Peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.

Rehema Nsanyiwa, an orphan from Uganda who runs a non-profit called Girl Be Project that utilizes the arts to empower other young women in the slums of Kampala.

Kerri Kelly, a yoga teacher and community organizer from New York who served as the Director for Off the Mat Into The World and founded Catalyst Collective and CTZN Well.

Julie Keefe, Portland’s first ever Creative Laureate and the founder of award-winning community arts project Hello Neighbor.

These incredible visiting muses will be joined by several local teachers including stand-up comedienne Shanan Kelley, community leader Ruth Williamson, and yoga teacher Cynthia LaRoche. Workshops include Creative Writing, Photography, Poetry, Improv, Yoga, Stand-up Paddleboarding, Mindfulness, Leadership, and more.
