Rick Steber, will read from and sign his book Three Little Birds: A True Story of Hope.  In Rick Steber’s latest novel, George Hooker is on the organ donor waiting list when he is given a rescued Canada goose egg which he holds on his chest above a damaged heart. Once hatched, the gosling imprints on George, making him Goose Dad. George is wishful that he will live long enough to see Tootie fly away with a migrating flock.  Rick brings us full circle as he shares that there is also a grieving family on the other end of a donor story.  Refreshments will be served.
