Juniper Golf Course is hosting a special 5K run on March 11 at 9 a.m. The run is to benefit Jericho Road, a social service organization in Redmond that helps the hungry and homeless in the community and also provides a food backpack program for students of the Redmond School District including schools in Terrebonne and Tumalo.

The run’s organizer, Erin Buckley-Noonan says that the benefit will “help students maintain their nutritional needs over weekends and enable them to begin the week well fed and alert”.

Juniper Golf Course is the pride of the Redmond golfing community and has graciously agreed to accommodate the benefit event. Those wishing to participate in this fun and challenging event can register on line at www.playjuniper.com. Packet pick up and in person registration at Juniper Golf Course on March 10th, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and race day 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Race begins at 9 a.m.
