Join writer Bonnie Olin for a richly-illustrated, educational journey into the canyonlands of the Owyhee River in Nevada, Idaho and Oregon.  This talk, slideshow, reading and 20 minutes movie is based on her book, The Owyhee River Journals. The book includes 125 color photos of rarely seen landscapes by photographer Mike Quigley, created over many years of their travels together. The movie features a 2006 expedition into Deep Creek and the East Fork of the Owyhee. The slideshow features the entire river corridor from Nevada to the Owyhee Reservoir. Handouts offering detailed information on the Owyhee conservation proposal, as well as recreational opportunities in the area, will be available at the event. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period and book signing.
