Following a debut novel that was nominated for Best Contemporary Romance in the RT Book Reviews 2011 Reviewers’ Choice Awards, the new romantic comedy, Believe it or Not, by author Tawna Fenske hit shelves this week.

Violet McGinn doesn’t believe in psychic powers. That’s one thing she has in common with Drew Watson, the attractive owner of a bar adjacent to Miss Moonbeam’s Psychic Pservices. There’s just one problem—Miss Moonbeam is Violet’s mother. And for the next few weeks, while mom recovers from an injury, Violet must fill mom’s shoes at the psychic studio.

Violet finds herself in the awkward position of defending a business she doesn’t like from a man she really wishes she didn’t like. Violet wants a “normal” life and Drew isn’t part of the plan. But the more Violet continues her pursuit of normalcy, the more she’s forced to face a series of mind‐numbing dates, a battle of conscience, a disgruntled landlord and a terrifying suspicion that Drew might be her perfect match. Even worse, there might just be something to this psychic crap after all… makingwavesfenske
