Central Oregon Writers Guild Annual Literary Harvest
The Central Oregon Writers Guild announces its 2011 Literary Harvest which will take place Friday, October 14 at the Comfort Suites Inn, 2243 SW Yew, Redmond, 6:30–8:30pm.
This annual event features readings by the top ten winners of the Literary Harvest writing contest. Open to Central Oregon residents and Guild members, the contest deadline for entries was Tuesday, September 6. Winners will be selected by a panel of local judges, and their names will be announced prior to the event. Contest entries were open to Central Oregon residents and Guild members.
Winners’ stories will be included in the 2011 Literary Harvest Chapbook, available for sale following the event. Several Guild authors will display and sell their books during the Harvest. The event is open to the public. Admission fee is $5 for Guild members and $10 for non-members, payable at the door. Refreshments will be served.
The Guild invites everyone to attend and enjoy its Annual Literary Harvest and share an evening of readings by local authors in a variety of literary genres.
