How did your favorite spot in Deschutes County get its name?

How about the place where you live? Was it after a prominent pioneer family or a little-known character? Maybe it came from a native word or a descriptive term for the place. Join Bowman Museum historian and author Steve Lent as he enlightens us on the names of many familiar places around us.
