Find out on First Friday, November 4 at Bend City Hall at 7pm.

Visitors attending First Friday in September and October were given ballots to vote for one of 15 artists that best portrayed the exhibit’s theme, Bend inspires its children: our future.

The selected artists were paired with 15 child-focused organizations to explore the theme through the work of the non-profit. From 5:30—6:30pm, the final five artist and partner teams will talk about their art and work with our community’s children and families. Scheduled to present are:

Ande Cardwell/ Healthy Beginnings.
John Sweet/KIDS Center.
Shelley Futch Anderson/Kids@Heart.
Linda Gillard/MountainStar Family Relief Nursery.
Randy Johnson/Partners in Care-Child Bereavement.
A special children’s art exhibit will also be on view at City Hall on the mezzanine.
These works will be archived by the Des Chutes Historical Museum for re-visiting  when the children grow up.
