Sip & Paint Hosted by Artists’ Gallery Sunriver

The latest craze of mixing painting, wine & socializing in a fun atmosphere is not just available in big cityis but locally has been a favorite past time in Sunriver for several years. Bonnie Junell professional artist who’s art hangs in the Artists’ Gallery Sunriver has been teaching Sip & Paint classes over the last four years. The next class is scheduled for June 12.

Over the last three years the classes were held at the SHARC, but Junell has moved the classes back into the Gallery where they originally started. Junell lives in Vancouver, Washington and when time permits Sunriver where she and her family plan to retire in a few years.

Sip & Paint is also offered in Vancouver at Latte Da coffee house and wine bar. It is offered each month in both locations where not only locals attend but visitors drive from outlying areas because Junell classes are quite different than similar classes offered elsewhere.

Release your inner artist
Unlike similar formatted workshops Junell’s paintings are all originals works with each month representing a different composition and something you would proudly display or give as a gift. For many painters it will be the first time they have experienced painting in oil.

Junell says her classes are not just about the painting you leave with but the experience you get in the process of creating your own unique painting while connecting with other Sunriver locals and having fun.

Classes are kept small from 6-12 painters so Junell has time to demonstrate and guide artists through the step by step process. No experience is needed and all supplies are included. Price is just $45 plus wine and chocolates. In addition to the monthly class, office parties or private events can be scheduled as well.
