Pamela Hulse Andrews

Pamela Hulse Andrews is the CEO (founder and owner) of Cascade Publications Inc., based in Bend, Oregon. Established in 1994 she publishes both the print and online versions of Cascade Business News (Central Oregon’s bi-weekly business newspaper), Cascade Arts & Entertainment (Oregon’s only arts and culture magazine), Bend Quarterly (a lifestyle magazine featuring people, fashion and adventure) as well as several annual publications including Bend High School Sports programs, Central Oregon Builders Guide and Sunriver Magazine.

Pamela’s diverse business background gives her a broad perspective on the arts and business community and the economy of Oregon. She has championed the cause of growing the arts in the high desert region and played a leadership role in connecting the dots between arts and economic vitality as well as furthering cultural tourism.

She writes an assortment of monthly and weekly columns on local arts, politics, business and the economy, taxes, creativity and developing entrepreneurship.

Pamela serves on many local and statewide boards and commissions including the Sara Fisher Project, BendFilm Advisory Board and Oregon Small Business Development Commission. She has served as the 2016-17 president of the City Club of Central Oregon. She was the president of the board of United Way of Deschutes County, on the board of Oregon Economic Development Commission and a commissioner on Oregon Cultural Trust.

In 2000 she received Oregon’s small business of the year award and the governor’s arts award in 2002. Cascade Arts & Entertainment received the Central Oregon Arts Association’s business of the year award in 1998. She was honored by United Way as volunteer of the year in 2003 and in 2004 she received the March of Dimes White Rose Award for service to her community, the Redmond Chamber award for leadership in 2002 and in 2007 the Austin Family Business award.

Pamela, an avid golfer and music aficionado, resides in Bend with two famously spoiled canines and has three grown sons and eight grandchildren.


Jeff Martin, VP Sales -

Jeff Martin is the President and co-owner of Cascade Publications Inc. as well as a partner in Cascadia Magazine Company. Martin has fifteen years of experience in sales with the last ten years focused on the successful increase of advertising sales for CPI’s numerous publications. He has served as head of advertising and special projects for the company, managing sales executives and expanding the Central Oregon territory. Martin has also been responsible for developing the Cascade Business News Top Projects magazine and the award winning Book of Lists.

He recently received recognition from the OSU Austin Family Business program as one of the top family-owned businesses in Oregon. He is a board member of the Advertising Federation of Central Oregon. In 2005 he successfully chaired the Deschutes County United Way small business division during the first million dollar campaign.  He serves on the board of directors of Feedin’ the People. He has been an active member of the High Desert Museum High Desert Nights board and coaches several youth sports teams.


marceeMarcee Hillman - Production Director  -

Marcee Hillman is the Production Director responsible for CPI’s publications including Cascade Business News, the printed Book of Lists, Bend Fashion Quarterly, the Rotary Fall and Winter Sports Programs, the Premier Builders Exchange Construction Directory, as well as maintaining the Book of Lists database, the Cascade Business News website and overseeing the production department and all CPI publications. She has over 20 years of experience in the production and design fields including a bachelor of arts in advertising/graphic design from Collins College and computer operations, art and media education from Arizona State and DeVry universities. She relocated to Central Oregon after living in many areas around the country including Cody, Wyoming; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Reno, Nevada and West Palm, Florida. Marcee enjoys the outdoor activities Central Oregon has to offer including riding horses, camping, snowmobiling and kayaking.

Jamie is in charge of the layout for Cascade A&E and Sunriver Magazine as well as assisting with production of Bend Fashion Quarterly and Book of Lists. She has taught community education courses on computers and social media for COCC since 2014. She received her associate of applied science degree in computer information systems from COCC in 2013, is a self-trained artist, a painter, sculptor and photographer who has previously sold her work throughout the Pacific Northwest. In addition to art, she has a keen interest in outdoor activities including fishing and hiking.

David Phillips, Account  Executive -
davidDavid Phillips was born in Medford, Oregon.  He holds a bachelors degree from Southern Oregon University and a masters from Wheaton College.  Dave has over two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector as a teacher, administrator and fundraising specialist.  He has also promoted national conferences for communication clinicians.  David is married to Barbara Phillips, his wife of over 34 years.  They have three children and four grandchildren.  David grew up playing the piano and the violin and his hobbies include landscaping, gardening (with his wife), rock hounding, visiting galleries and enjoying various cultural events in the high desert.  David and his wife enjoy living in Central Oregon and are especially fond of the sunshine!
