Under Pressure Steamroller Printing Event

undrprsr1Road equipment turned into a printing press. You can see it for yourself – and it should be this year.

Atelier 6000 launches an outdoor print shop for a live printmaking extravaganza on September 15-16 from 10am–4pm.

The Under Pressure printmaking event, held every year since 2007, and featured on OPB’s Art Beat in 2010 will retire this year. This is your last chance to witness what a crew of artists can do with large pieces of plywood, lots of ink and one big roller. It’s the LAST ROLL!

undrprsr2This intensive two-day event gives only 20 professional artists the opportunity to create extraordinary-sized fine art prints. The time-honored manner of pulling prints takes on a new edge, heading outside and using heavy road equipment. Atelier 6000’s commitment to fine art print education, and providing a working studio environment for printmakers and other artists, is exemplified in this signature event, now in its final year.
