Gossips, hypocrites, liars, and lovers populate one of Great Britain’s classic theatrical works! Sir Peter Teazle’s marriage is not even a year old and it is already on the rocks: Lady Teazle is quickly falling for the charms of the dashing young Joseph Surface. But Joseph is only playing her to get to Maria, who stands to inherit a fortune. But Maria is in love with Joseph’s brother, Charles, the prodigal son that no one wants Maria to marry. Stirring it all up is the venomous Lady Sneerwell and her cadre of backbiters, who spin a web of malicious slander that threatens the happiness of everyone they encounter.

Argentine Tango & Dance
7:30pm
Sons of Norway Hall
549 Northwest Harmon Boulevard, Bend
541-639-9399
Welcome to dancing Tango in Bend! We are an intimate group of dancers who meet regularly to dance  Argentine Tango. Beginning Tango lessons are  every Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 followed by two hours of practice time from 7:30 to 9:30 for all levels of Tango dancers. We are fortunate to have Ryan as the instructor. He was raised in Central Oregon and first stumbled into a Tango class while living in Southern Argentina in 2006. Since then, he has lived and danced on three continents, and has a love for sharing the practice and subtleties of Tango, imparting the knowledge and feeling that his first teachers imparted to him.  Join us the 4th Saturday every month from 7:30 to 10:30 in a cozy atmosphere to socialize and just enjoy the high energy of the Milonga, where we enact the traditional night of Argentinian Tango in our best dancing attire. The fee is $5 for the Practica and $5 for the Milonga. No partner required.  We’re always excited to have new people come join our community – stop by and say hi!
