The Market occurs once a week downtown in the Brooks Street Alley-way behind the Tower Theater. The Market also takes place on Fridays, from 2pm to 6pm, June 19th thru August 21st, at Mountain View High School north parking lot. The high school is located at 2755 NE 27th St.

The Deschutes Historical Museum celebrates its anniversary on the 4th of July with free admission and ice cream cups. The Deschutes Historical Museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This year marks the Deschutes Historical Museum’s 35th anniversary as well as the 40th anniversary of the Deschutes County Historical Society.
In addition to free admission to the Deschutes Historical Museum, guided heritage walks will take place throughout the day. Heritage walks will be on a first come, first serve basis and are limited to 15 visitors per walk. Finding Fremont: Pathfinder of the West is currently showing in our exhibit galleries.
The Deschutes Historical Museum opened July 4, 1980. The Museum free day is an opportunity to thank the community for its support with free admission and free ice cream treats.
