We are excited to host Multidisciplinary Artist Ben Erlandson for this timelapse workshop! Participants of this workshop will explore different methods for timelapse capture with a focus on sense of place.

Workshop Highlights:

Basic Principles for Time Lapse: With guidance from Ben, participants will gain insight into composition, lighting, and calculations for frame rate and shot intervals for setting up time lapse projects.

Exploring Sense of Place: Ben will pose guiding questions to explore and define sense of place. Participants will explore how place identity, place attachment, and placeness can be elaborated through visual media.

Timelapse Capture Techniques: Using a smart phone, DSLR cameras and software applications participants will get to practice and utilize various methods in their time lapse captures.
