Well just like that it seems the Fall colors have arrived and Central Oregon is heading into another beautiful Fall season. A season of change, optimism and gratitude.

We are so excited to kick off KPOV’s Fall Fund Drive on October 14! Our DJs have been busy planning their special shows and there will be lots of surprises during our 10 day drive.

Central Oregon has always stepped up and supported KPOV and we know this year will be no different. Since the vast majority of our funding comes from our family of supporters, we count on these drives to sustain our work and refresh our commitment to the Central Oregon community.

We have raised over $15,000 in matching funds to bolster our efforts and provide added incentive to our supporters to step up and make a donation.

Please support us during our drive and help make this the most successful drive in recent years. Donations can be made at kpov.org.

And don’t forget to join our Karaoke Party on the 23rd at The Commonwealth Pub to culminate our Drive and see who wins the title of the first KPOV Karaoke contest champion!
Tickets available here.

Of course let’s not forget that this is an election year, and our show hosts on The Point have been busy managing an array of candidate interviews to help keep our community informed. There are many very important elections coming up and our mission has always been to use our platform to inform and educate. In case you missed any of the live interviews, we make them available as a podcast accessible here.

And finally, thank you for supporting community radio. In these times of questionable news and other information being distributed, we remain steadfast in our efforts to bring factually accurate and unbiased information to our listeners. Your ongoing support directly enables our efforts.
