On November 15th, 2015, the Central Oregon Chamber Orchestra will perform Vivaldi’s Magnificat in G Minor RV 610 and Mozart’s Te Deum K. 141 with the Bend Camerata, a newly formed chamber vocal ensemble. The orchestra will also perform Suite for Strings by John Rutter, Serenade for String Orchestra, Op. 11 by Dag Wiren, and Ancient Airs and Dances Suite No. 3 by Respighi. The concerts performed by the Central Oregon Chamber Orchestra over the past several years have been a great way to experience a style of music that is similar yet radically different from the normal symphonic sound. With only a dozen or so musicians participating, these concerts have a much more delicate, intimate feel. The Central Oregon Chamber Orchestra is associated with the Central Oregon Symphony and conducted by Michael Gesme.
