Appaloosa Releases Second CD

Appaloosa is a local Americana band that plays original music and some folk and country covers from favorite artists of the ’60s and ’70s is releasing their second CD: Appaloosa….On the Loose.
This new project features the full six piece band and it is filled with intimate, eclectic and spirited songs — stories set to their type of music.

“We are singer/songwriters first and this album is a blend of folk, country and some thrilling electric rock & roll vibes,” says Dottie Ashley, vocalist with the band.  “You’ll be amazed at how our music has developed over this past year.”

Very soon, you’ll be able to hear clips from these new songs at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/appaloosa…..

If you’re in Central Oregon, come hear them and pick up the new CD:

June 4 Madras

June 10 downtown Bend at Dudley’s

June 14, Redmond Farmers Market

Lots of dates during July and the rest of the summer, too, for you to catch us making music.

“Because we produced and are marketing these CD ourselves, we are offering you a special opportunity: If you order through us, each CD is $10 (lasts longer than a scone and a latte) and we will cover the shipping costs to you if we need to mail,” offers Dottie. “CDBaby also has our albums for sale, but they charge more and the band receives less….however, it’s easy to buy from them with just a few simple mouse clicks.  And as a concession to the current music industry standards, you will be able to download single songs this time for 99cents.

:Please enjoy our music, either on CD or by hearing us live. We love what we are doing and are grateful to be writing songs that tell stories you want to hear.  Look for another email alert coming your way when we’re sure the stores are stocked with your new favorite album…………. Appaloosa: On The Loose.”
