Arts Central, in collaboration with Bend Parks and Recreation Department, is hosting Art in the Park, a series of free arts programs held at various parks in Bend throughout the summer.

For the third year, Arts Central is bringing Art in the Park to the community, with each session led by professional teaching artist Anne Rustand. The upcoming Art in the Park schedule is as follows:

August 2 10:30-11:30am/Stamping & Printing
Harmon Park at 1100 NW Harmon Road

August 9 10:30-11:30/Bead Sculptures
Al Moody Park at 2225 NE Daggett Lane

Arts Central’s Interim Executive Director Deborah Allen, says, “We look forward to hosting Art in the Park every summer because it’s a great way for people to explore Bend’s beautiful outdoor spaces and engage in different art activities at the same time. And, nothing inspires creativity like fresh air, gorgeous surroundings and sunshine!” All events are free of charge and open to all ages. No reservation or registration is needed but children under age eight must be accompanied by an adult for the entire session. For more information, please contact asinfo@artscentraloregon.org
