July 10 in Sisters musician, artist and author Dennis McGregor will present his new book Dream Again. July 11 in Redmond is Jane Kirkpatrick with her newest novel. July 12 Connecticut author Marie Bostwick will present her new book Between Heaven and Texas in Sisters.
McGregor, well known for his music and for his visual art, has now written, illustrated and published a stunning book for all ages. The only thing Annie has to remember her family by is a patchwork quilt made from their worn-out clothes. When the quilt gets lost along the Oregon Trail, the adventure begins. Refreshments will be served.

On Thursday, July 11, at 4pm, beloved local author Jane Kirkpatrick will present her newest historical novel, One Glorious Ambition, at Paulina Springs Books in Sisters. This book is based on the life of historical nineteenth-century reformer Dorothea Dix. Born into a
dysfunctional family, Dorothea wanted to accomplish more than what was expected of women in her day. She searched for a way to fulfill her God-given purpose and discovered a gift for teaching and writing. But it was when she visited a prison housing the mentally ill that a fire was ignited in Dorothea’s heart. Refreshments will be served.
