Central Oregon Community College Hosts Armenian Musicians

Central Oregon Community College is hosting musicians Bet Williams and John Hodian on Wednesday, April 8 in Wille Hall in the Campus Center on the Bend Campus. There will be a free cultural talk on Armenian music from 3-4pm and a musical performance at 7pm.

From ancient monasteries in Armenia to music festivals throughout Europe, Williams and Hodian have been creating and performing music together for more than 20 years. With the world music ensemble “Epiphany Project,” the blues based “Bet Williams Band” and the Armenian classical music group “Naghash Ensemble,” the music these two artists create is a vast quilt of influences and inspirations.
