Join the Central Oregon Writers Guild for the June  meeting  in which writing coach Trish Wilkinson will provide examples of rich settings conjured by successful authors and give practical tools to take your writing to a new level. Find out how to weave vivid descriptions of physical surroundings as well as engage your readers in the cultural and emotional climate of your story within dialogue, action and subtext.

Trish promises to share ways to use the environment, in both fiction and nonfiction, to enrich your story, increase tension, and stimulate visceral feelings in your readers.

Trish is a writing coach, freelance editor, novelist, contributing writer and the editor for the blog Tenacity to Triumph: The Bad Ass Code. Trish is a credentialed, mentor teacher of 23 years who has helped numerous writers find their voices, hone their craft and move on to publication.
