Come join us this Art Walk! We will be painting downtown Wall St. purple on Friday, September 4th from 5pm-7pm to raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association and to gain support for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event on September 19, 2015.

The Alzheimer’s Association will be hosting our annual Memories in the Making Art Show in the lobby of the Chamber of Commerce building (777 NW Wall St. Bend, OR 97703). Memories in the Making (MIM) is a fine-arts program specifically designed for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. MIM transcends traditional arts-and-crafts classes, as it provides a creative and nonverbal way to communicate and capture precious moments through art.

To support the Walk to End Alzheimer’s mission of raising funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research will be also selling raffle tickets at the art show for the chance to win over 60 fabulous prizes.
