Looking Glass Imports and Café LLC and The Friends of the Redmond Branch Library announce a joint venture to bring a new art exhibition opportunity to central Oregon artists. To that end, we are announcing a CALL FOR ARTISTS for our inaugural exhibition.

All exhibitions will take place in the Looking Glass Imports and Café located at 150 NE Bend River Mall Dr., Suite # 260 in Bend, OR. 97703, and will be two months in duration. New to Bend, Looking Glass Imports and Café offers multi-media arts and crafts, classes and events, a café, and a wine bar which will be open seven days a week. The first exhibition will take place April 2 – June 4, 2016. A reception for each exhibition is planned. Artists may submit between one and three pieces of 2-dimensional wall art for display. The Friends of the Redmond Branch Library has been asked to facilitate the exhibitions in Looking Glass Imports and Café. Owners Kelly and Kathryn Johnson, as well as the regional art community, are familiar with the Friends Art Committee which was responsible for many of the most exciting open art exhibitions in Central Oregon until last year.

Looking Glass Imports and Café believes in a world free of social restrictions that allows and supports each person’s pursuit of their greatness!

This joint art venture with the Friends of the Redmond Branch Library fully supports this mission by offering artists the largest retail location in central Oregon in which to pursue their artistic aspirations.
