The Central Oregon Symphony begins its 51st season and presents guest pianist, Joseph Rackers, who will perform Beethoven’s Concerto for Piano No. 4. Mr. Rackers has been hailed as an “American Virtuoso” (Audiophile Audition), who has “enormous power and intelligent, instinctive interpretation” (Spoleto Today), and is “simply dazzling” (The State). The concert will also feature Mozart’s Overture to the Magic Flute and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 5 “Reformation”. Evening concerts on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 and Monday, October 16th, 2017 begin at 7:30, and the Sunday, October 15th, 2017 matinee begins at 2:00 p.m., all at the Bend High School auditorium.
