Dr. Edward Davis, assistant professor of paleontology at the University of Oregon and paleontological collection manager for the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, will discuss new paleontological research from eastern Oregon and throughout the High Desert. Two relatively intact skulls of giant saber-toothed salmon were recently found near Madras, Oregon. These 6-8 foot long fish disappeared from Oregon’s fossil record five million years ago.

Doors open at 5:30 pm; program starts at 7:00 pm
