The COCC Barber Library is displaying the work of the High Desert Art League from September 16 through December 6, 2026.  “The Best of the High Desert Art League” highlights premier work by the League’s professional artists. Most artists will be present for a reception on Thursday, September 24 from 4-5:30 p.m., with free parking and refreshments.

This show includes works by Pamela Beaverson, Helen Brown, Barbara Hudler Cella, Jan Dow, Janet Frost, Liz Haberman, Jacqueline Newbold, Vivian C. Olsen, Janice Rhodes, Rebecca Sentgeorge and Joren Traveller.

“This amazing group of professional artists continues to create the most incredible work!”, explains League President Janet Frost. “Although many of us are affiliated with various galleries and associations, High Desert Art League shows pull our creative wonders together into one show as a unique collective exhibit. The Barber Library’s Rotunda is a wonderful venue for our show, with easy accessibility and a welcoming beautiful exhibit space.

The COCC Barber Library is located on the Central Oregon Community College campus at 2600 NW College Way in Bend. The exhibit is open during normal library hours.
