Starting on May 1st, Haelan House is presenting the 2nd Annual The Healing Trauma Conference online virtually for anyone suffering or wanting to learn how to heal from trauma. The virtual conference will offer 20 pre-recorded presentations and a teen panel discussion, 2 Live streaming keynote speakers, and a resource directory for participants. The Keynote speakers are, Richard Groves, Founding Directory of Sacred Art of Living and Wendy Rudy of St Charles Cancer Center, who is a retired military veteran and is active in the National Guard.
The Healing Trauma Conference changed from a live in-person event to a virtual event because we felt the information was important to continue to offer the local community of Central Oregon and the greater community as a whole to help with the trauma of the global pandemic and these stressful times of uncertainty. Traumatic stress is a world-wide problem effecting people of all ages. Many go through life not understanding why they feel overwhelming emotions of fear, anger, anxiety, and a wide variety of physical effects. Sometimes people begin to believe, it’s just how they are in emotions and physical effects and not realizing there is hope to be able to change these effects for better health and wellness.
The Healing Trauma Conference focuses on healing and positive ways to overcome trauma and live a happier life free from the aftermath of painful or traumatic memories. We will provide tools, education, and resources for healing techniques for self-care to create a clearer path to resiliency.
