Mark your calendar for the July 11-12 weekend to attend the Trout Lake Festival of the Arts.  Nestled in the Trout Lake Valley at the base of Mt. Adams, the Festival has something for everyone to enjoy.  The 55 juried artists show and sell their fine art and craft.  Live music plays all weekend and there’s plenty of local food and drink.  The youngsters can create their own art in the Kids’ Corner.
This year, the Festival expects 55 juried artist and 3,500 visitors.  The Festival was hosted for many years at The Farm B&B but returned to the fields of the Trout Lake School last year.  The 2015 Festival will again be held beside Trout Lake School.
Art mediums represented will include glass, watercolor, multi-media, oil,  bronze, ceramic, silver, paper and much more.  The food choices range from Otto’s famous sausages to Trout Lake huckleberry pie. The music styles range from a marimba band and the Gorge Wind Concert band to singer/songwriters, world music, and a return visit from folksinger Mo Dixon.
