Feel the Spirit Opens at The Museum at Warm Springs

Annual Tribal Member Art Exhibit is a highly anticipated juried exhibit.

There’s excitement in the air, as Warm Springs Tribal Artists finish their projects to submit into The Tribal Member Art Exhibit. This highly anticipated juried exhibit features a variety of traditional and contemporary art. Traditional art may include bead work, moccasins, basketry, carvings and horse regalia. Contemporary expressions have included mosaic furniture, ceramics, paintings, photography and jewelry. Typically, art from 25 – 30 artists is displayed.

Elder Adeline Miller states, “It is through the arts, that both young and older Tribal Members can connect deeply with their heritage.”

Because of the wide variety of submissions and different mediums, this has remained a favorite of the exhibits shown in the Changing Arts Gallery.

A new feature that is quite exciting, is the addition of a Tribal Member Art Catalog that will accompany this exhibit. It will feature Artists and their art, some of which will be on display during the exhibit. The Tribal Member Art Exhibit and Catalog are supported by The Native Arts And Culture Foundation.

Please join us as we celebrate Warm Springs Artists with an opening reception:

We would like to thank The Native Culture And Arts Foundation for their support and sponsorship for this years exhibit and catalog.
