First Friday Art Walk
The Old Mill District launches into the new year with a vibrant First Friday Art Walk this Friday, January 2 from 3-6pm. This Friday, Tumalo Art Co., The Stacks Art Studios & Gallery, Lubbesmeyer Art Studio & Gallery, Savory Spice Shop, Will Leather Goods, Saxon’s Fine Jewelers, and Confluence Fly Shop all have something creative up their sleeves to share. Additionally, to complement the artistic, festive ambiance, participating shops will offer complimentary wine tastings courtesy of Va Piano Vineyards Wine & Champagne Bar.

OSU + PRAx
Oregon State University – Cascades and the Patricia Valian Reser Center (PRAx) expand their reach in Central Oregon with an innovative concert series debuting at the Tower Theatre January 21 featuring a rare North American appearance by Yagódy. Founded in Lviv, Ukraine in 2016, the seven-member ensemble blends ancient Ukrainian folk melodies with theatrical performance, dramatic costumes, Balkan rhythms, and haunting vocals. This concert is the first of the OSU + PRAx partnership, with the second concert coming mid-April.
