Singer Registration Party is set for Thursday, September 19, 5:30-7pm

 

Linda Gardner opens her home at 22055 Rickard Road, Bend, for singers to celebrate and register for the Harmoney4Women performances this December.

 

Registration fee is $50 which covers music, learning CD’s and 10 weeks of singing lessons. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7-9pm at the Bend Senior Center – 1600 SE Reed Market Road. Rehearsals are every week until the concert – excluding Thanksgiving.

Matinee and Evening Performances are at 2 and 7pm on Saturday December 7 at the Tower Theatre, Bend.

Funds raised through registrations and ticket sales benefit the Women’s Resource Center of Central Oregon, Grandma’s House and Bella Acappella, a women’s non-profit singing group.

Last year there were 70 singers on stage, ranging in age from 10-80. Women and girls of all ages and vocal abilities are welcome to join in the fun.

 

Last year there were a number of mother/daughter combos, three generations from one family, and two 15 year old young women who were actually born at Grandma’s House.
