High Desert Chamber Music Concludes Seventh Season with ENSEMBLE PARADISO

High Desert Chamber Music concludes their seventh season on May 15, featuring the Central Oregon debut of Ensemble Paradiso, brought to you by Lumbermens Insurance. This Los Angeles based group is comprised of piano, violin, and cello, and was founded by celebrated violinist Jessica Guideri, formerly of the award winning Fry String Quartet. The ensemble strives to present innovative and varied performances with a wide range of appeal. They will also be joined by HDCM founder and violinist Isabelle Senger.

“We are looking forward to presenting this brand new group to Central Oregon. They perform in different configurations which allows them to program diverse offerings. The repertoire is varied and spans from 18th century Mozart to modern day Schoenfield. This concert will be a wonderful conclusion to our seventh season,” states Executive Director Isabelle Senger.

The season finale will take place on Friday, May 15, 7:30pm at the Tower Theatre in Downtown Bend. Join members of Ensemble Paradiso for a pre-concert talk about the program beginning at 6:45pm.  This event is free for all ticket holders. The program includes works by Mozart, Ravel, Bartok, and Schoenfield. The Spotlight Chamber Players from HDCM’s Educational Outreach program will perform works by Mendelssohn, Beethoven, and Rachmaninov prior to the concert. The following students were selected for this year’s program – Mateo Garza (viola), Ben Kroeker (viola), Hannah Ortman (violin), and Amy Wheeler (cello).
