High Desert Chamber Music and the Pine Tavern Restaurant join together to host a special event on the patio overlooking Mirror Pond September 20. The Spotlight Chamber Players will be performing music ranging from Bach and Mozart, to Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. This is a free event, and guests are encouraged to come and enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the river. The restaurant’s full menu will be available, as well as their Happy Hour menu.

We are happy to begin this relationship with new owners Bill & Gail McCormick and are pleased to co-host this unique event at the restaurant” states Executive Director Isabelle Senger.
This event will take place on Sunday, September 20, from 3-5pm at the Pine Tavern Restaurant in Downtown Bend. This event is free, but reservations through the restaurant for seating on the patio are recommended.
The Spotlight Chamber Players program was developed to provide a high level of chamber music instruction and is offered at no cost to the students selected. This program is devoted exclusively to the study and performance of chamber music skills and techniques. The recipients of this award receive weekly chamber group instruction with Isabelle Senger, as well as individual and group instruction with select visiting artists from the HDCM Series.
Groups are given the opportunity to perform at HDCM Concert Series and Spotlight Series events, as well as taking part in a number of compensated performances in the community.
High Desert Chamber Music’s mission is to bring world class chamber music and musicians to Central Oregon. Now in its eighth season, HDCM has presented a broad range of chamber groups, ranging from string trios to piano quintets. In addition to the concert series is an Annual Benefit Gala which includes a performance, dinner, and silent auction. Tickets for all events are available through HDCM online, by phone, or in person at our office in Downtown Bend.
