Operaganza! is rescheduled for 6pm Friday, February 16 at Elevation, is the first offering from OperaBend in 2018. Just in time for a unique Valentine’s Day celebration, this gala soiree features a three-course meal, wine and entertainment. There will be a silent auction with exciting, one-of-a-kind treasures to bid on, proceeds supporting the local opera company’s 2018 Season which includes the Broadway musical The Secret Garden and Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, or The Bride of Lammermoor. A festive evening of performances by Nicholas Boragno, Kari Burgess, Cristine Keever, Jason Stein and Scott Michaelson will showcase pieces from Broadway and Opera, including a sampling from upcoming shows.

Boragno, a bass baritone from Pasadena, California, appeared in 2017 in the Thank You Notes Donor Concert and as Colline in La Boheme on the Oregon Outreach Tour.

Burgess is a soprano from Portland who has thrilled audiences in Central Oregon with her principal role performances in La Boheme, Carmen, Die Fledermaus, The Magic Flute and Thank You Notes.

Keever, of Madras, is a soprano who appeared as Cinderella in Into the Woods, Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute and numerous OperaBend concerts. She will perform the principal role of Lily in The Secret Garden, March 23-25.

Stein, a tenor from Bend, has sung many roles at OperaBend and is the stage director for The Secret Garden.
