Oregon Festival of Cars at Les Schwab Amphitheater

carOver 150 unique cars including British, German and Italian are expected this weekend. Featured will be the Fisker Karma, Fisker of Portland’s advanced series hybrid, a one-of-a-kind battery powered machine with the spirit of a sports tourer.  

The Oregon Festival of Cars, the Northwest’s premier car enthusiast weekend, is scheduled for September 14 – 16, highlighted with a public car show on Saturday, September 15. Over 150 unique cars are expected to participate in the 2012 Oregon Festival of Cars event. Staged at the Les Schwab Amphitheater, high-end, high-performance sports cars will be on display for everyone to enjoy. British, German, Italian, and other models will decorate the Amphitheater grounds. Also featured will be the Fisker Karma, Fisker of Portland’s advanced series hybrid, a one-of-a-kind battery powered machine with the spirit of a sports tourer.

Travel around the amphitheater grounds viewing these beautiful and well-kept vintage sport and enthusiast cars coming in from all over the Pacific Northwest, and have the opportunity to visit with the owners. Be sure to gather at Festival Central for the parade of specially selected cars driving by the reviewing area with commentary from Sports Car Market’s, Keith Martin.

The car show is Saturday, September 15 starting at 10am and going until 4pm at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, located in the Old Mill District. Tickets are $10 for general admission (16 and under are free with paying adult).

TCF-The Center Foundation exists to benefit the health, wellness, and education of Central Oregon youth by providing no-cost athletic trainers in several area high schools, concussion baseline and management, brain and spinal cord injury prevention education, free bike helmets, and a high school scholarship program.
