The Sunriver Stars Community Theatre opens August 24-26 with a performance of The Brementown Musicians. A theatre which directs family friendly productions, the featured actors are Sunriver residents who have a flair for the dramatic.

Ticket sales from the play will go to the Sunriver Home Owners Association scholarship program for FAST Camp, an after school enrichment program. The Stars Theatre depends primarily on local support, with funding for plays coming from local business sponsorships and the new SHARC (Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic and Recreation Center) providing rehearsal and performance space.

Sunriver Stars is directed by Victoria Kristy-Zalewski, a theatre veteran with extensive experience with children as well as the arts, and all of the troupe’s plays are family friendly.

The Brementown Musicians will be presented at 2pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as 7pm on Saturday.

$10 front row seat, $5 adult seat and $3 seniors and children under 12, but any children who attend Three Rivers School in Sunriver may bring their entire family free of charge simply by showing their school ID.
