The Met: Live in High Definition at Old Mill

Take a trip to NYC for the afternoon and enjoy a live performance of the Metropolitan Opera with a high-definition simulcast at Regal Cinemas in the Old Mill District on November 10

Be sure to see Ades’s The Tempest—a Met premiere where Director Robert Lepage recreates the interior of 18th-century La Scala with an inventive stage.

On November 14, don’t miss an encore performance of Verdi’s Othello a Shakespearean masterpiece with soprano star Renée Fleming.

On December 1, enjoy Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito a drama set in ancient Rome starring Elina Garanča.

On December 8, the Met will perform Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera—a new production with Marcelo Álvarez who stars as the conflicted king in a dramatic story of jealously and vengeance.

On December 15, enjoy Verdi’s Aida an ancient Egyptian drama starring Roberto Alanga.

On January 5, see Berlioz’s vast epic Les Troyens with a star filled cast portraying characters from the Trojan War.

Take in the grand opera house and the sounds of the orchestra warming up as you find your seat. During intermission, get ready for behind the scenes set changes and interviews with the performers right off the stage. You’ll enjoy beautiful costumes and modern set design along with an amazing cast of world famous opera singers.  Regal Cinemas in the Old Mill District is one of many participating theaters nationwide, but the only location in Central Oregon.
