The Brave Tiny Art Benefit: Calling for Tiny Art Submissions

Tiny Art. Big Impact.

CALLING FOR TINY ART SUBMISSIONS!

Deadline May 16th

The Brave Tiny Art Benefit is a silent auction of donated artwork from individuals and businesses. Everyone’s an artist and anyone can enter their creation.

This year all proceeds will go to the Sudara organization. Sudara is a local Bend business creating safe, sustainable jobs for women in India to help end sex trafficking. The women are employed to sew PunjammiesTM, the ultimate lounge wear, and are offered a fair living wage and education.

Reception & Exhibition

Thursday, May 19th 5:30-9pm

Brave Collective

133 SW Century Drive, Bend

We need you to create miniature artwork and submit it to Brave Collective no later than May 16th, 6PM. The theme of this year’s art exhibit is: FREEDOM.

Please have your art represent what FREEDOM means to you and title your submission. Submission forms are available at Brave Collective or on the website www.ShopBraveCollective.com.

We can’t wait to see how size restrictions will open up new possibilities and inspire your creativity. Please use these following size guidelines to ensure adequate smallness:

2D artwork:

Must have an area no more than 9 square inches. Examples include 3” x 3”, 2” x 4”, and 1” x 9” (including framing).

3D artwork:

Must have a volume of no more than 27 cubic inches (about the size of a Rubik’s cube). In addition, the footprint of the 3D artwork must be 4” x 4” or smaller.

Email shopbravecollective@gmail.com to discuss any further ideas or if you are interested in doing a “small” performance. To learn more about Sudara go to Sudara.org.

Hosted by Brave Collective and Bend Fashion Quarterly Magazine

Tiny desserts and big beverages will be provided.
