Taste This!

The Stacks Dinner & Delicatessen brings a New York City-style flair to Bend, and it has caused quite the rave among our community. Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails owners Steve and Cheri Helt have basically brought the Big Apple to us right here in the heart of the Old Mill District, offering Pastrami Reubens with house-fermented sauerkraut, a beet-cured salmon lox plate, rotisserie chicken pot pie, house pickles and potato salad, and even a spread of desserts to top everything off. These staples have already made a name for themselves since the restaurant opened in late January, and even local news outlet Central Oregon Daily took notice.

Calling All Sallys

Hayden Homes Amphitheater welcomes ROLE MODEL on the first stop of the North American leg of his “CHUCK ON TOUR” on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Performing hit songs like “High Hopes 3000” and “Joy” from his new album, “Chuck Timely & The Hourglass,” ROLE MODEL, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, will also perform fan favorites from his “Kansas Anymore” album. Pillsbury recently performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” following his new album release, meaning he’s having a moment, and fans are eager to catch him live. We also hear he loves to interact with fans at shows by calling up a special fan from the crowd as his “Sally” for his encore performance of “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out.” Could you possibly be Bend’s Sally?
