The Dalles Art Center will host a Runway Event during our Opening Reception for its first Wearable Art Show on April 2nd from 5-7pm . At the Runway Event, models will strut their stuff to show just how each entry was made to compliment the human form.
The Wearable Art Show is juried, open to public entry, and will be on display for the month of April. This special exhibit will go beyond the typical reproduced apparel you might find in a department store and take fashion to the next level!
The only hard and fast rule for this exhibit is that all artwork must be made to wear on the human body–all mediums and any level of whimsy are accepted.
Please join us for our Opening Reception Thursday night. Meet the artists and mix with other art lovers, admission is free and the community is welcome.
