Four decades ago, Donald M. Kerr founded the High Desert Museum to create a space that immerses visitors in place, inspiring wonder about our region’s history, cultures, wildlife and art.
It is because of you, our incredible Museum members and supporters, that we can continue to inspire conversation, connection and a desire to learn about the High Desert. In 2023 over 200,000 museum visitors shared the wonder of the High Desert during their trips to the Museum.
